About the Huracan EVO
The Huracan EVO is the last generation of Lamborghini's V10 in its purest form: 5.2 litres, no turbochargers, and a 8,500 rpm ceiling that arrives as a shriek rather than a shove. Where turbocharged rivals deliver everything at once and then flatten out, the EVO builds continuously, which is why it still feels quick on the climb to Genting long after the straight-line numbers have been matched elsewhere.
What separates the EVO from the earlier Huracan is not power but intelligence. Lamborghini added rear-wheel steering and a torque-vectoring all-wheel-drive system governed by a central processor that reads the car's attitude and intervenes before the driver has to correct. In practice the car shrinks around you: it turns into a corner with the eagerness of something a size smaller, and it holds a line through mid-corner bumps that would have the older car shuffling.
For a Kuala Lumpur booking, it is a car with two clear personalities. In Strada, with the exhaust valves closed and the adaptive dampers soft, it will sit in Jalan Ampang traffic without embarrassing anyone.
