About the 330i
The 3 Series has been the reference point for driver-focused executive saloons since 1975, and the G20 generation is the one that restored some of the sharpness the previous car had lost. BMW added lift-related dampers — a hydraulic secondary damper inside the main unit that firms progressively rather than at a fixed rate — which improves body control without hurting the ride.
The 330i uses a 2.0-litre turbocharged four producing 258 PS and 400 Nm, driving the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic. Zero to 100 km/h takes 5.8 seconds, and the delivery is linear and strong from low revs.
Most Malaysian cars carry M Sport specification: firmer suspension, a more aggressive body kit, larger wheels and sports seats. It is the specification worth having.
Turbo delivers the 330i across Greater Kuala Lumpur. A frequent choice for executive and multi-day bookings.
