About the X4
The X4 shares its platform, engines and most of its structure with the X3, but the roofline falls away from the B-pillar and the rear track is wider. The result is a car that looks considerably lower and more aggressive without giving up much in practice.
The xDrive30i uses the 2.0-litre turbocharged four with 252 PS, reaching 100 km/h in 6.4 seconds through xDrive all-wheel drive. Adaptive M suspension is available and worth having.
Rear headroom is reduced against the X3 but remains adequate for adults, and BMW lowered the rear seat base to compensate. Boot volume drops modestly and the opening is shallower.
Turbo delivers the X4 across Greater Kuala Lumpur.
